FAQ
Our Toddler/Kid Course can be taken as early as 10 months of age all the way through ten years of age. If your baby or toddler is not self-feeding yet, we recommend starting with our Infant Course first. Our clients report that they wish they had taken our Toddler/Kid Course before they began to struggle with picky eating, as the journey is easier when you know what to do. However, this course was designed for parents and caregivers who were struggling with picky eating or wanting to ensure that their child was getting enough nutrition at any point in their journey, so it can benefit you no matter when you take it. It’s also ideal for caretakers who want to help their child grow up with a healthy relationship with food.
The core content of the Toddler & Kid course takes about 2 hours and 45 minutes to complete, broken down into bite-sized lessons. Bonus content, including sensory and oral-motor challenges, allergies and special diets adds an additional 55 minutes when the course is taken in its entirety. To customize your learning experience and cut down on run time, the Toddler & Kid course can be watched as videos, listened to podcast-style or read as a script.
Bite-sized steps that you can watch as a video, read like an article or listen to podcast-style. At the beginning of each step, you'll find a summary of what's covered so you can tailor your experience to only the info you need. The videos are closed-captioned.
Many of our clients report success when taking the course and implementing its strategies. Sometimes making a few small changes makes all the difference. In other cases, clients have to employ many of the techniques used in the course over time to see improvement. If your child does not improve with the techniques in this course or is exhibiting any of the red flags mentioned in it, we recommend seeking a feeding evaluation with an OT or SLP who specializes in feeding. This course does not place individualized therapy when it’s warranted.
